1. Why is McKay/Weir the most awesome? 2. What's your favorite Bible verse? 3. Why do you love massage? 4. What's the oddest quirk about your family? 5. Where do you want to live your life?
1. What's on the walls of your room? 2. Do you have a favorite sit-com? If so, what? 3. Which of your icons do you think is the most representative of you? 4. What's the most frustrating thing about the Jossverse fandom? 5. What item on your interest list will never be removed, even when other interests come and go?
1. In my bedroom: my name in Winnie the Pooh letters, an unframed John Singer Sargent poster, an unframed Edward Hopper poster, and about 20 postcards from friends with a small Serenity poster. In my bathroom just this print. In my den & eating area I have a couple thousand photos on the wall with some music posters scattered here and there among them. 2. All time favorite is SportsNight - without question. 3. The one on this comment. It is actually me so easy choice. Me & my car in the hot Southern summer sun, window down, music up, open road, flying up a US highway (US61 in Mississippi). (Taken while driving - yay for being able to stear w/ my knees long enough to get the shot) 4. The most frustrating thing about the Jossverse fandom is the very annoying lack of new canon. *sigh* 5. Lots of them. But I know I'll never get rid of Bruce Springsteen, Duke Blue, Tommy Westphall, or Windows Down/Music Up.
I didn't start 'shipping this incestuously until the last episode of S1, when Keith told Veronica that he was her biological father and they immediately started snogging on the couch.
Yes, yes, yes!
They really are coupled off on the show, working together in the classic sense of film noir gumshoe and dame, or Nick & Nora type partnership. I feel that the entire first season of VM was about mixed bloodlines and blood that was too close -- incest and intermixed families formed the central theme. People were so entangled that you could not tell who was family or not, who was lover or not.
Having Veronica's mother turn out to just be...well, a bad person, cemented Keith and Veronica as a couple, if not a sexual one. The daughter is a better wife to the father than the mother was; Elektra complex justified.
Plus, I just love them together. Now I need to go watch that couch scene again.
