Oh... wow. Man, I'm glad you posted this, because I haven't read the Buffy/Angel remixes yet and might not have gotten around to them at all, and I'd have hated to have missed this. It's brilliant. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

(It probably didn't hurt that The Monster at the End of This Book was one of my all-time childhood faves, either. :))

Well dude. Thank you so much. I love meta about stories, and my fourth wall is firmly, permenately cracked in pieces (I'm too addicted to "gentle reader," I think) and so this was a lot of fun for me to write; I'm really glad you liked it as well. Yes.

This is just awesome! The Monster at the End of this Book was my favourite Golden Book as a child and now I love it (and am more terrified by it) than ever. Just fantastic!

Oh, this is wonderful.

Particulrly, I loved this bit: Let the record further state that the monsters at the end of this tale are already in place. Watching the world. Biding their time. Waiting. The women they watch are vessels, empty rotten human corpses that walk and breathe only because they still might be of some use to gods.

Chilling and fantastic.
