Title: "Over The Hills And Everywhere"
Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis
Pairing: Weir/McKay/Grodin
Rating: PG for darkness and death
Timeline/spoilers: Goes AU during or shortly after the pilot; vague mytharc spoilers through the rest of the season
Notes For angelic_mand in the weirfans Weir ficathon. She wanted this trio with lots and lots of angst and no fluff.

Thanks for reading.

Grodin is uh, South African, pretty, played by a Dark Angel guest star, follows Weir around with a clipboard. As far as I can see, that's the extent of his personality.

To be honest, I don't know if *this* McKay is really all that like my McKay; this challenge kind of threw me and after seeing everyone in the city die, the snark kind of died. *sigh*

Just realized: almost all my 'lantis fic is archived here. :) [read "Phobic" and "Sex Issues" for the inside of my Rodney's head.]

I quite enjoyed that, not what I was expecting but very tender. They all seem different from the series but then it is a rather tragic AU. I'd quite like to see more into this version of events.

Thanks for reading -- I agree, the characterization seems off. I'm not sure whether the AU is enough to justify it or not. Ehh. *shrug* I'm glad you liked it, but I'm afraid that's it for this particular version of the 'verse. It's more fluffy McWeir pr0n for me, if I ever finish all the ficathon stuff I've got looming. *hides*

I'm not overly upset this is where it ends, especially since I'll eagerly await any Mcweir stuffs from you. :D

I really enjoyed this. My new favorite type of fic to read is those that explore what would happen if they had to abandon Atlantis. I think if they had to abandon Atlantis their personalities would have to alter. I think you left enough of who they were on Atlantis in and changed enough to show how they would be different. (if that's what you were going for?). Well, anyway I enjoyed this. :-)

Thanks for reading and commenting! That was what I was going for -- continuity with the canon characterizations is always my goal, of course -- I'm glad you think I pulled it off. :)

Kate98 just put up a post asking for stories and rec's for Gate_Haven, I know you are a member and may want to post this yourself, but if you don't would you mind if I rec'd it?

Er, sure! Are you sure it would be welcome there, given that it's m/m/f? But if you think it would be suitable, go right ahead -- I never mind being recced. ;)

Thanks for reading, yay! It's totally my goal that whenever people say, "Yanno, there's not enough x in the world," I can go, "I wrote some right here!" Slowly but surely... :)
