Yesterday, I got the last part of my crown done. My dentist says that now I am done with big things until I finally get my dental implant ( Read more... )

I saw the thumbnail of the skull skirt, but didn't realize before that it had bows on the skulls! Fantastic!

This fabric was obviously destined to be a part of her life. So much so that I am willing to (shudder) IRON PLEATS.

I just hope it doesn't suffer the fate of the last skirt from that pattern, which went to MN and Never Returned.

Those are cute. As the grown-up daughter of a mother who sewed, I can tell you that the dresses she made for me when I was little are among my few good memories of her, even if she was over-fond of dressing all three girls identically. Kay's lucky. :)

It would be totally straightforward to re-create. You could do it! Just a yoke skirt top and very deep wide pleats.
