I am reading and collating a ton of stuff about the flooding, because, as I told Xatharine, I can actualy make a difference for the small community I am reporting for. Sometimes I wonder if I could have toughed out journalism, but then I remember that I like eating and affording kids. Hey, maybe you can do some cross-blogging with the nearest Metroblog... which I think is Seattle. Maybe they'd pimp your blog if you dropped them a line.

Mm, I could, but it's roughly equivalent to asking a MSP blog to promote a blog out of Saulk City or something.

You'd be surprised... the Metroblog groups are usually really supportive of local bloggers. Worth a shot, if you're inclined.

I used to write for the Mpls Metroblog, and they covered stuff from all over the state.
