I love my lemon sour cream cake. But sometimes a girl wants variety, so I took the base of that cake and turned it to spice cake. Heavily spiced, as they should be

Is that regular grocery store ground cloves?

I have ground cloves from Penzey's, and I think 2 tsp of that in anything culd kill someone...

All my spices are Penzey's or Market Spice. There's a lot of butter and sour cream that mellows out the spiciness.
