Did we mention it's been a little bit wet? Just a touch? We have had a pineapple express parked over us for the month of November. As of this morning, we were between 6 and 7 inches of rainfall for the month of November in Mineral. Another 4-10 inches is predicted. 1 inch fell between midnight and 7 AM, and there were 3 inches on Saturday ( Read more... )

Send some this way! Here in MN it's so dry they're begging people to water trees and shrubs before it freezes so they survive the winter.

Yikes!!! Assume the approach to Morton isn't out (and that's the one that went out in the big floods of 1996), you could also go to Morton, head over White Pass (hahahaha!!!), go up to Ellensburg and come back over Stevens. Might be faster/dryer, since much of the travel would be on the dry side.

Is Chinook still open? That would be faster yet.

God, just thinking those names and remembering those routes makes me homesick.

Kerhahan Bridge is the Skate Creek Road bridge?
