Democracy means freedom of sexual choice between any two consenting adults; Utopia means freedom of choice between three or more consenting adults.

Ahh, yes. Johnny Carson's "What Democracy Means to Me" speech, as, um,
inspiring today as it was in 1991. :)

Hey, are you, yunatwilight, and ineffablewombat planning on going to the Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band show tomorrow? If not, want to?

Erk, sorry for not getting back earlier--writing distracted me from comment catchup. :/ We had a long tabletop game on Sunday, actually, so we were already taken. But thanks for the offer!

God, I hope so. But reading things said by Barrowman (admittedly before Torchwood aired) are worrying me, and it's only countered by the thought that production staff have been known to lie about things in order to keep it interesting.

Dammit, I don't want Ten and Jack to hate on each other.

*wibbles*

Well, there's always fic. I can't imagine, given Jack's behavior in End of Days, that he outright 100% hates the Doctor...though if I were writing it, his greeting would be something along the lines of, "Doctor, I've wanted to do this for about a century." *kisses him, decks him, in that order*

Or either order would be fine with me, as long as he doesn't break Ten's nose or something. XD

That moment in End of Days is amazing. Jack's total devotion to the Doctor is almost scary, which I love both for the 'awww' and for the slight creepiness.
