::Even if Aya hadn't been nervous about Yohji being out on recon he wouldn't be able to sleep well. Over the last few months he'd become so accustomed to having Yohji's weight and warmth and self tangled with his in bed that bed feels wrong without him. When unsettled, Aya walks. It's too cold outside and he's waiting for Yohji's return anyway so he walks through the building.::

::He... feels something that makes him check out the mission room and notices Yohji. Is he hurt, upset...? Aya walks up to the couch and waits for Yohji to acknowledge his presence.::

::Aya hopes Yohji can see all the love he's putting into his facial expressions.:: Yes, you should.

He can, and it helps. Okay, standing. And stretching. Yohji glances around but doesn't immediately see the clock. "What time is it?"

About 4:30. Hellish time. ::Aya has to rub his eyes a bit.::

"Oh. I thought it was later." Yohji kind of really wants Aya with him, but also kind of doesn't. He's still feeling rather ashamed of what he had to do to get through the job. "Do you want...?"

::Aya's operating on too little sleep to interpret that, and now that the twitchy, adrenalized nerves of worrying about Yohji have shut off he feels leaden. He can't ask what Yohji means in words, just makes a questioning sound.::

Yohji pulls Aya into a hug gently, as if he's not entirely sure he's allowed to touch someone so precious right now. "Do you want to go back to bed or join me in the shower?"

::Not caring about the smells because it's Yohji, Aya hugs him tightly.:: Bed. But join me soon?

A lot of the tension goes out of Yohji with that hug. "Yeah. I'll be quick." Yohji kisses Aya on the top of his head. "I need to put some things away down here before I go up." He doesn't want to let go of Aya though.

::Aya smiles sleepily when Yohji kisses the top of his head.:: All right.

::He's not in much hurry to let go either, even though he's falling asleep standing up.::

That's so precious. Yohji tugs one of his gloves off so that he can stroke Aya's hair. His voice is barely more than a whisper. "Love you."

::Aya leans his head into that touch.:: Mmmm. I love you too. I'm glad you're back.

"Me too." Snuggle.

"...if you fall asleep, I don't think I can get you up the stairs."

Damned right. I'm no lightweight. ::nuzzle:: Let's go upstairs. I'm going.

"I'll be quick. Promise." He really does have to put away a few things down here, but he's going to watch Aya go with a fond smile first.
