Aw, that's lovely! Very in character and I can totally believe this is what actually happened. Nice episode continuation there.

Poor old Lily!

Thank you! I am enjoying figuring out how to write Lily's voice. I think she's a bit quirkier than I've written her so far, so I want to write more. :)

I thought you did Lily's voice beautifully. This is wonderfully plausible. Plus I loved the little bit where Barney buys her the flowers.

I'd LOVE you to write more. I'd love to see more episode-extensions from Lily's POV. Please do continue!

Aw, thanks so much! I definitely hope to!

I love the idea of Barney buying flowers for a friend.

Awwww. I loved so much this scene in the episode, that made me love Barney even more and you write a delete scene from the same scene??? Awww, you make me very very happy because of it. :)

And thank you for the second fic. I wasn't expecting so I loved. :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed the gifts! I said it earlier, but it was great to write for Lily (and Marshall) since I have previously focused only on Barney/Robin-- I like getting out of my comfort zone and trying something new.

I've always wondered what happened after that short San Francisco scene. Glad you liked!

Brilliant! I desperately love their interactions, and it's really a drag they don't get more time together on the show. Theirs is such an interesting relationship, and I imagine this is precisely how it went in SF.

That is awesome to hear!! I too love Lily and Barney together-- and I wish we knew more about his visit to SF. Thanks for your kind comment!

“Look, Lil, I may not know a lot about love, but I do know that just because people are mad at you doesn’t mean they can’t still love you.”

This was amazing :) Your Lily voice is so good, especially the part where she can't decide whether or not Barney should tell her about how Marshall's doing. I love the description of Chinatown, didn't think Barney would go off on his own to Alcatraz when Lily was right there and needed a friend hehe!

Thank you so much! I had so much fun looking up touristy places in San Francisco where Lily could realistically take Barney when he had so little time. I love the idea of them spending a little more time together there. Thanks for commenting!!

P.S. Have I mentioned how great your icon is? Because it is. I need a cocoa break right now.

..That's when you and the person you're high-fiving (moi) bump cocoa mugs in a light but decisive manner and then obsessively blow on the cocoa and say "COCOA BREAK" :D
oboeshoes and I have successfully performed the transcontinental hot cocoa five, fo' realz! Hope you enjoyed your cocoa and I must say I love your icon so much! :)
