No no... no Star Trek presents from us. We don't encourage that sort of nonsense thinking :P We were the Ivanna license plates - no stars or treks involved.

Btw, I seem to remember charcoal being laminated when I did studio arts. (Well... dry pastels anyway, and they're pretty much the same thing). But it looks a lot cooler and WAY more impressive in a frame. So kudos to you JP!

P.S. I can tell you and Kaye are gossiping about my French boys - why don't you actually comment on my journal so I look popular? :P

Ah, what you caught there was an old inside joke in the cousins. 'Cos once on eBay, Ivo wanted to buy this Star Trek material (30 metres of it!) that the person recommended for curtains and the like. So Ivo, thinking that I was the creative one in the family, wanted me to make her pyjamas out of them. I said I'd give it a shot, but then it came up at one of our family dinners. And all the parents were laughing at her "curtains for pyjamas?!" Kinda amusing, and it's still fun to mock Ivo with that today :P

Ah, mocking Ivo isn't something I'd dare do ;) But yeah, that is funny, I can't imagine pjs made of curtain material would be very comfortable to sleep in!
