grabbed one of these for my tech in adelaide, i had a very brief play, seemed decent enough. i think the battery life wasn't *that* great though, 3.5 hours talk time? probably not any worse than your current phone though?
and the browser is khtml-based (i.e. kde's konqueror), which is what webkit/safari is based on, and i think the s60v3 browser is based on code prior to apple committing back lots of various webkit fixes. so to be entirely pedantic, it isn't safari-based, but the renderer exhibits similar behavior. either way, for a mobile browser, it's damn good, and beats the crap out of pocket IE.
Ah, interesting to know - I guess the marketing droids got that mixed up somewhere along the way.
I'm not forseeing this phone as being a major browsing device.. I'm hoping to get the nokia tablet for that, once I get some cash through sales of my other stuff :)
