Saturday morning, lusciousa and I went to the Araki exhibition at the Barbican. We arrived way too late to meet latexiron and the others there, but anyway.. I had not realised the depth and breadth of Araki's work, and came away feeling amazed. More so than with the Diane Arbus exhibition, I have a craving to take photos and attempt to create art

I know that you knew by this point nobody was hurt, but why on earth did you take a picture of some poor bastard's car on fire?

I'd been standing around for a while; police had arrived, I'd called to say I'd be late, and nothing much more was really happening. I thought I'd take a picture just in case it turned out interesting.

Did the four blokes who owned the car not look a bit upset about this?

Nah. I think they had other stuff on their mind.
