This could be fun? Overkill, 4th November, at Electrowerkz.
Although I might be going on an excursion with anohate the following day, so might not be up for such hardcoreness.

Myself & dogrando are definitely going (have tickets & everything!). kitty_goth, marnameow, mouseboks, & uon have all expressed interest, as well.

Oh, & boyofbadgers & I think maybe catsgomiaow, as well.

Our thought is that we're going to expect this to be a not-dancing event (more with the sitting down & chatting & listening to interesting music, as per the Wrong Music afternoon at the Glade); and then if some of it *does* transpire to be dancable, that'll be a bonus :-) As Pete has commented, it is possible that there may be Badness; but with 42 people playing, it's not like you ever have long to wait before the next one comes along!

Yeah, for example I have the DJ Scotch Egg record, and it's great fun, but it is no way dancable: it has the attention span of - ooh, look at that shiny thing over there. I have know idea whether he's one of those people who moderates these tendencies when playing out in clubs or not... he is an bonkers Japanese after all[*]. And the rest of the Adaadat stuff I know has this property to a greater or lesser extent. I have a nervous feeling that the best stuff will be in the Wrong room which will consequently be packed. But it could also be great, and it's only a tenner, so I figured to give it a go.

Shame you couldn't make Digital Tribes last night, had a really good time.

[*] Not a racial slur, incidentally, just a reflection of a trend amongst Japanese breakcore artists.
