I seem to be bottoming out, emotionally. The slightest thing will bring on a meltdown and tears. I am feeling very tired, abused, sad and lonely, and, at times, even some what hopeless, which I know is bad because attitude is important for healing ( Read more... )

An occassional pity party can be good for the mental health.

Hey, everybody needs a pity party now and then. And you are most definitely dealing with Big Stuff. Huge, scary, confusing, life-altering stuff... how could you not be overwhelmed?

Do you have a cancer support group in your area? If so it might be worth a look. It's often helpful to talk to people who've been where you are.

With everything you are enduring you have every right to respond this way. Reaching out and letting others know how you feel is a healthy response. The suggestion about finding others who have been through this and over come it is a great idea. (((HUGS)))
