SHITE FOR THIS LOVE.

Sep 08, 2009 03:23

It's time to use the power of iTunes play counts to decide what the BEST POP SONG OF SEPTEMBER is! I've had 'Fight For This Love' by Cheryl Cole and 'The Spell' by Alphabeat for one day now. How many times have I listened to each all the way through without skipping to another song?

A wizard has turned you into a Danish pop group! Is this awesome? Y/N )

Pete Waterman can suck my dick.

Actually, no, he can't. But you know. He can go away.

I wouldn't let any talent show judge near it, to be honest, I'd be too concerned that they'd want to do it in front of a studio audience with obnoxious OTT editing and explosive trailer music.

IT'S TIME!
TO!
FACE!
THE MUSIC!

I refuse to believe that anything could cause National Treasure Cheryl Cole to miss out on a solo #1, despite the fact that the single is a bit bobbins.

Popjustice called her voice here CONFIDENT and like a proper popstar's - if by 'proper popstar' they meant 'Mel C' then I'm with them all the way. Otherwise: nuh uh!

I'm backing Dannii's triumphant return to the top 75 with whatever terrible dance song she puts out in the middle of X Factor.

Alphabeat are still cack, though.

Cheerio, Michael. xxx

I've decided "CAN YOU FEEL THE POWER WORKING, BABY GIRL? OH OH!" is the best pop moment of 2009, so false.
