Despite the wretched weather, this past weekend was actually really wonderful. I'm glad I decided to go to the extra effort and bring the space heater because I really feel that is the only thing that kept me sane what with the cold. In fact, I'd say this is one of the few events that I have not chaffed to leave the tavern! Stay here in the toasty

I'm glad you enjoyed the Day of Memory! Most of the celebration stuff I set up kind of flopped, but the ribbons and speaking really seemed to go over well. Very raw emotions. I was worried it was just going to be NPCs, but PCs shared some things too.

There is a joke floating around that the reason Clan Life left was because Clan Death would sacrifice Vireni for just about everything:

"Which kimono should I wear today? Black? Or Red?" Death to Vireni! "Hmmm...looks like the Red."

I am soooo bummed I missed the story sharing at the Barracks later! I really wanted to be involved in that as Najita.

Glad you had fun - and I enjoyed helping out at the tavern! I certainly enjoyed spending more time with Kaia, and including her in my Leorin rites.

I do agree that there was a definite shift in the Company when outlawblade arrived! So weird for Najita, since he really didn't know who she was or why she was hanging around. :)

I was helping gianajho and grumblykins move on Sunday, and all I could think about as we dashed back and forth was "Holy cripes, those people at ARALIS are hardcore."
