Heya!

Yup, I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Apparently the movie has been getting spotty reviews - what's up with that? It's VERY broadway of course but Will Ferrell and Gary Beach were, well, brilliant and incandescent and totally stole the show. Must. See. Again.

Heil Myself! LOL

I'm going to glance at some reviews when I get a chance. Perhaps it's only that this movie is pale in comparison to the Broadway production? I can see how the previous two versions of it might be better thought of than this one.

However, I agree with you, the film's strength is in its script and dialogue, and those two actors alone did a fantastic job of translating their characters in hysterical fashion!

Dr. Who at PF Changs pleazzze! Yay! Everyone dress like their favorite Doctor. It'll be such a geek fest, and absolutely fav! Plus I know *exactly* what I'm asking for my b'day for a change.

Sorry, didn't mean to make this reply all about me. lol

might it be getting bad reviews because Uma Thurman is just horrible (in general)? :-)

sorry, if I don't have anything nice to say I should butt out....

:P In general, I really like Uma Thurman, and I've seen her in a wide variety of films and roles. She's not bad here, and has a much stronger voice than I would have imagined (not great, but not horrible, either) however, in comparison to her co-stars and some of the rest of the cast who have experience and background in theater and in musicals, she's more wobbly in this company.
