These are absolutely fantastic - thank you very much for posting. I wish I could visit his exhibition one day, to see bigger versions!

Yay, I'm so glad you like these! I hope you do get to see his work someday. He gets exhibited a fair amount in museums (from what I saw while I was trawling the web for his photos), and he seems pretty prolific, too. I would love to see a complete collection of his seascapes, since he's been taking them for over two decades now, I think, and the exhibit I saw was less than ten images, if I remember correctly.

These are utterly gorgeous. They manage to be meditative and haunting all at the same time. There is also something about the compositions that remind med of old Japanese Ukiyo-e paintings.

Thank you for posting, and you know I ADORE your art posts right?

*GLEE* I'm really glad you enjoyed these! :D I admit, I was hoping you might like them....

I think you also might really appreciate the podcast I linked to in the earlier post. He's really a fascinating artist, and I bet you would have loved "History of History."

Also, I owe you a thank you note for your wonderful parcel! I received it, (quite late, I think) a few weeks ago, and I couldn't read the CD for a while (no idea, maybe our CD players are on the fritz), but I finally managed to unlock the secrets inside, and it's so delightful. :) Thank you so much, darling. ♥
