So if Tyrol is a Cylon, then doesn't this mean that there are two half-Cylon, half-human babies? So Hera isn't special anymore? This just seems odd to me; I feel like when the writers decided to make Tyrol a Cylon, they forgot that he had a baby (until Tori mentioned it to Cally in the launch tube, anyway).
They just retconned this, because they did, in fact, appear to forget it. I was Not Impressed.
I have a great snarky-yet-meta comment on this subject but sadly it would spoil you. Or prepare you, depending on your point of view ;-)
Suffice it to say, they did not cover their backsides on this oversight very well.
I did find your comment about Tori being left to escort Hera very interesting; I had forgotten that detail. Hoping to get lots more Tori-time as the show winds down; she's the only one of the four who seems almost *enjoy* being a Cylon. And I find I like Tigh *much* better now that he's a Cylon.
Well, where you're behind now? That was me, about 3 weeks ago, and it's taken me this long to marathon through S3 and into S4. 8 eps left to go...
BSG is definitely NOT as good as the mini & S1, but I don't think anything can top those. There are good moments, some REALLY good moments, but nothing that achieves the fabulousness of S1.
Doubt is the next movie on my to-watch-list. I saw a documentation about it on TV, but I didn't dare to watch the whole thing, because those things usually give too much away. I agree on what an extraordinary actress Meryl is. As much as I adore Kidman, I still think she was the real star of The Hours.
I'm glad you're enjoying BSG again :) I agree that the show did have some low points, but all in all it's still my show and my love for it grew over the seasons. Season 4 rocks my socks ;D I'm looking forward to your thoughts on the current episodes.
