I am so glad about Obama's policies regarding the environment, which is where these actions eventually lead. At least I hope so.

I'm not very interested in Frost/Nixon (I may watch it anyway, though), but I'm very curious about the Wrestler. I haven't read past your spoiler cut, but it sounds definitely very good.

The Wrestler was a fantastic film - not a fun movie at all, but a really powerful story, I thought.

Sadly I realized after we saw it that it was not one of the best pic nominees. I suspect the uber-honest portrayal of the subject matter was too much for the nominating folks.

Perhaps. I'm working my way through the best picture nominees. When I'm done, I'll let you know if I think the omission is an outrage. ;)
