30 Rock never fails to make me happy. It's utterly insane, and yet the characters are so true to themselves that it always works. And Kenneth's sincerity really is so winning.

I must watch "Slumdog millionaire" one day - I have been cautious of a film made about India by non-Indian person, but it seems everyone likes it!

I'll be interested in seeing what you think of "Slumdog Millionaire" - I think that it's the kind of film that might not have been made by someone in India, whether they were Indian or not. I also felt a bit skeptical about Danny Boyle, but it is a good film. I don't think it's THE BEST FILM EVARR !!11!!! but if Suketu Mehta, the Bombay-born Indian author of Maximum City (an amazing nonfiction book about Bombay), is to be believed, the film is very based in the reality that many people in Bombay live. Some of the things that Mehta describes in his book are illustrated in the film.
