*laughs* I love that you had the same reaction that I did to Uedas smiling. ;) They actually sort of explain it in the making of PV - everyone has their own story line, so why Koki cries and Ueda smiles makes sense. :)
I guessed there must be a good reason for him smiling, but since the storylines aren't immediately apparent from the pv, I don't think it can avoid seeming out of place with the mood of the song and the rest of the pv. Koki's crying seemed much more in keeping with the mood - but you know, I'll never say no to Ueda's smile because it's something lovely and blinding! :) It felt almost like a few seconds of respite, in fact.
I quite like the song - although after having left it on repeat for a while, I have to be careful not to play it too much anymore. :) I love how KAT-TUN takes on all these different song styles and manages to pull them off so nicely.
We are so on the same page about that Santa. He is proper SCARY. *giggling*
Thank you so much for the screencaps. It is such a pretty PV. I hope you get a chance to watch the Making of....it is really pretty. They all look so lovely in it, and the song is gorgeous.
I'd love to know why the Santa had to look like that. Eeek!
I'm glad you like the screencaps - and I'm planning to watch the 'making of' later this evening. :) I'm saving it for a treat once I get through some other things. :)
I did have a nice weekend - I hope you did, too, dear! ♥
It really is a beautiful PV. I'm still unsure about the song, but it is growing on me. The Making of is wonderful because they all look so happy--I always go all mushy whenever KAT-TUN are on good terms, because they so rarely show it. I agree with you about Ueda's smile though--it really is absolutely stunning. I can't wait for the QoP DVD to come out too, because he smiles in the sweetest way during the concert, and also because his solo is simply exquisite.
I'm glad to hear such good things about the PV's 'making of' - happy KAT-TUN is definitely a good thing! And glee for the QoP DVD, you make me crave it even more!
I had a lovely weekend - I hope yours went well, too. ♥
I have yet to see the music video or really listened to the song....I'm just going to wait until my copy comes in the mail. I must agree, the guys are looking really good from your screencaps! Kame & Jin as usual....and wow, Junno looks so handsome! (he seems to always catch me off guard!)
Oh, I absolutely agree - Junno looks gorgeous in the PV! And so does Nakamaru, too. I'm quite liking both of their short dark hairstyles - very becoming. :) I hope you like the PV, once your DVD arrives!
The video's so great and pretty and angsty and aaaah. *_* (the santa is. is. :| um, yeah.) skldjf at the ending, though, I was like "is akame walking towards each other in adjacent shots a subtle-but-yet-not sign????" lolol.
Ahahahaha, I wondered the same thing at the end, with the shots of Kame & Jin walking along - I was hoping they would meet one another (and so was disappointed when they didn't, sigh). Heee!
Still, such a pretty PV, with lovely shots - and I actually like all of their outfits, too.
