*glee* Another TED Talks fan - my bf got me into them, and we watched a few last night that were terrific. This one is one of the best I've seen though, for its sheer emotional value. I had tears in my eyes, too - I could feel something in me reaching out to her as her voice changed and I realized what an epiphany she'd had.
oh wow, that was so incredibly moving and powerful...i've seen a handful of TED talks previously, but none that had moved me to tears like hers. thank you so very much for sharing this with us! i loved the way she chose to end her speech by inviting the audience/viewers to think for themselves, which would we choose, and when. brilliant!!!
♥♥♥
profuse apologies for the delay, but i hope you had the loveliest birthday, and that you enjoy a year full of love and happiness. *huggles*
I'm really, really glad you enjoyed this! I was also very moved, and I hoped that perhaps a few of my flist might take a risk, watch it, and be similarly moved. I'm so glad she's sharing her experience and her revelations with us!
I had tears in my eyes, too! You're very welcome - I'm just happy that you took a chance and watched it. Her experience is incredible, and one from which we could all learn. :)
There's no such thing as "late" around here! ;) (I'm perpetually late with comments, you know) I'm so glad you took the chance to watch it and that her words resonated with you! :D

I agree, absolutely! Her talk was really strong, but she ended it so powerfully and thought-provokingly.
