I hope you like it, when you get a chance to see it! It's a tough drama, which is the main reason that I warn you ahead of time that this drama does not end happily, so you can prepare yourself for that. But the actors are fantastic, and even though the characters do terrible things, they still make you care about them.
I was just very impressed with how the whole package was assembled. I didn't feel like there was a lot of wasted time - everything ultimately made sense and fit together, which is why they don't always explain everything at once, but drop hints and details throughout the entire drama. It's only at the end that you can see the whole picture and understand fully why the characters end up the way that they do - and not just the two main characters, but also the secondary characters, who are interesting as well.
I seriously want to watch this drama again, I was amazed at how good it was when I saw it the first time! (I think I said this before =P) It makes me sad that Yamada Takayuki hasn't done a drama lately since most of the ones I've seen him in...I've enjoyed. (craving H2 right now too and I'm not a baseball fan) To be honest, I didn't like Ayase Haruka until I saw her in Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu and this...probably because I saw her first in Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni even if it was just a supporting role.
I'm glad to see you made a post about this drama, and that someone else enjoyed it too.^^
Ayase Haruka instantly became one of my favorite actresses since I watched her in Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. And I adored her to bits in Hotaru no Hikari ♥ She's so cute and talented! I think she's amazing in whatever role that's given to her XD
Thanks for the lovely caps! I would probably watch this :) She's so beautiful. :D And I don't mind angsty/ sad dramas that much XD
*glee* Another Ayase fan! Really, when you watch this, and you compare her performance in this drama as Yukiho to her performance as Hotaru you will love her even more - her range is incredible!! She makes you believe in these characters so much.
If you watch, I hope you will like it, even though it's so dark. :)
i love the plot, i love the characters, no matter how twisted and dark this drama is, i just love it! ... and bec. it is twisted and dark, it is on my list of my most fave dorama.
Thanks for the review, - I'd never even heard of this drama before now but it sounds so fascinating and unusual that I've already popped over to jdramas to start d/l the first episode. ^_^
There are some really lovely screencaps here too ^_^ ♥
Oh, wow, that's so nice to hear that you're willing to give this a shot, even after my ominous commentary! O.O I'm surprised, but very pleased, too. :)
And I'm so glad you like the screencaps! ♥ It's a really beautifully filmed drama, which makes my job so much easier and enjoyable.
