Thank you for the screencaps and the reviews of the last few episodes of 1 Pound no Fukuin. I enjoyed them very much and as I know not much about Catholicism I find your comments about it's representation quite interesting.

While I understand all the reasons why this happens in Japanese dramas, it still seems rather disrespectful - I'm not offended on my own behalf, but I do have a strong sensibility for accuracy in certain areas. I would be equally annoyed if they were trying to be historical for some reason and failing completely. Since the Catholic references come out of the manga, though, I suppose it's hard for the drama to improve on that.
