Have you ever sat through the Ali G movie? If you think Borat's bad you should watch this. He becomes an aide for the Deputy Prime Minister wherein he fights for better education in the UK dressed like this http://www.cinema.com/image_lib/7068_heading.jpg. So frightening. But I watched Borat with a sort of horrified fascination. I love Sacha Baren Cohen.

I started watching Spooks but something about it pissed me off. The BBC loves to do those type of action/drama shows but sometimes they just seem to fail. I only really ever watch BBC for Doctor Who. Do you mind me asking how you watch British TV? I always see your posts on the BBC. Sorry if this comment sounds awkward. My brains temporarily dead. Lol.

No, I haven't seen the Ali G movie, although I do have a DVD of his tv show, which is very wrong and funny.

The thing is, I adore Spooks! It's first two seasons were amazing, and now I stick around mostly for the characters and the production values. BBC gives me a lot of things I love, so I can't complain, beyond Doctor Who and Torchwood, it's also given me the brilliant Life on Mars, Bleak House, and North & South. On the slightly less-brilliant scale there are many more that I love.

It's pretty easy to watch British tv! Whatever is available on DVD here in the U.S., I can get my hands on pretty easily, and sometimes I even buy R2 DVDs but I don't like to do that as much because the UK DVDs don't always come with closed captions which I prefer. Otherwise, I get my British drama the same way I get my Japanese dramas, via the kindness of others. *cough* :)

Yes I agree with the Borat review. I've actually seen Imagine me and you as well *laughs and leaves it at that* wasn't too bad, had moments. By the by did you ever see Match Point? So glad you got to see Blade Runner on the big screen!

Thanks for the info about those LJ pop ups.
I didn't mind them much to begin with, but lately they were starting to irritate and it didn't occur to me that they could be prevented until you just pointed it out! ^__^
