My sentiments exactly. Although it wasn't a total loss for me since there were some great shots of hunky Pi thrown here and there. One thing about this drama though is that even though it turned out to be lousy, there was something in it that made it watchable. The potential was there so it's frustrating that it ended up the way it did. And Pi & Masami weren't able to convince the audience that they were in love. That combination turned out to be fatally boring--chibi friend and Eikura Nana had more chemistry. But a lot of News & Pi fans thought it was great---a matter of personal taste.
Ah right, same sentiments about News too:) I just don't find them exciting enough.
I agree wholeheartedly on your sentiments about Proposal Daisakusen, but I suppose you knew that even without me saying anything. ;) I have to say though, the one really good thing to come out of that drama is its OST. Fabulous. And the ending theme is wonderful as well. :)
I haven't been commenting lately on your LJ dear (because sometimes I don't know what to say), but I've been reading every post dilligently and you know you are in my thoughts always. *hugs*
I can't wait to see Lust, Caution. Ang Lee is awesome and so is Tony Leung :) I was planning to watch Proposal Daikusen, but since the ending was disappointing, hmmm...
That's great news about Blade Runner. There are directors' cuts of so many completely undeserving movies (Knocked Up is such a work of art that the world wouldn't be complete without the definitive version) that it's nice to see a movie deserving of the full treatment actually get it.
