Fandom has made me happy over the last few days.

1. I love "Akai Hana." It's the song I've been waiting for NewS to record.

2. I love KAT-TUN's "Peak." I also like the new dance, even though it looks a bit rough. I'm sure it will get better once they get more used to performing it. Yes, I liked even the dorky parts.3. And I loved Kame's acoustic

I love that last cap of Kame. And that version of BnMd is nice. I loved that song since I first heared it in THnK. (That shows music's so good.)

Peak I still haven't made up my mind about. I think it sounds so much like backgroundmusic for something.. (I know it's used in one of Kames adds, but still). *sigh* I hope Jin will return soon.

After the first time I heared Peak I said I didn't like it, but perhaps it'll grow on me soon. Things usually does it seems.

Lots of things grow on me that didn't grab me at first - which is why I do try to give things a second, third or even a fifth chance (unless of course I'm too turned off to begin with).

I really, really like "Peak." It's bright and peppy and different, which is important to me. And it doesn't sound like straight pop - it sounds funky and has personality.

Completely agree with all your points. ADORE "Akai Hana" and "Peak". When I heard the opening of the latter song, I was like, "YES. YES. YES. THIS IS WHAT I LOVE KAT-TUN FOR. Not that fungus!song. :P" Yet, I liked Kame's vocals A LOT on the fungus!song. *grin* But am I the only one who thought that "Peak" should've closed the episode and that "Bokura no Machi de" should've been the first song performed? *shrug*

Oh, and I was totally admiring the cinematography for this episode of NHK Shounen Club Premium, it was like every other focus on Kame was just gorgeous and flattering. :)

No, you're not. The only reason I can think that they arranged it that way is because the focus was on Kame so they wanted to end with him rather than with his band. The "Peak" performance was so much fun and energetic, though, that it was an obvious choice for an entertaining finish. Too bad!

Peak is amazing. I've had it on repeat for just about four hours O_O It's just that good.

I haven't watched the special perf. yet. So I can't comment on that at the moment :P

I'm entirely in agreement with you on Kame's solo of "Bokura no Machi de" - it's so gorgeous, and I'm in love with Nagase playing the guitar - while I loved Kame to pieces, I could watch Nagase play that guitar like that for a long, long time. *swoons*

I love "Peak" for lots of reasons, but partly because it's so funky. :) I also adored "Real Face" from the beginning because I was so blown away by Japanese pop that sounded like rock with those guitars. See, I'll always have my love affair with guitars! ;) And I find the choreography for "Peak" to be very entertaining (silliness included). I loved Ueda. He was so enthusiastic in his singing and even in a lot of his dancing he was very emphatic, which doesn't happen much anymore. Yes, rewatch! It may not be your thing, but it was definitely mind. Heee!

*bouncebounce* I LOVE akai hana. I wasn't sure what to expect because I wasn't hearing any good recommendations, but then I actually listened to it. ^__^ I always seem to fall for the NewS songs which are fast and hard to karaoke.

Peak, i like a lot better after seeing it performed. Just listening to it, it was a nice song, but not one I'd have on repeat for a couple days. But the perf was fun and I like listening to it more now.

YEAH! More "Akai Hana" love! I prefer most of News' faster songs, too. I adore "Sayaendou."

I'm looking forward to another live performance of "Peak," which hopefully will iron out some of the wrinkles from this first perf. I like the song more all the time! :)
