I promised darkeyedwolf kissing caps from Torchwood 1x12 "Captain Jack Harkness."

If anyone doesn't know by now, I have a tendency to get carried away when I screencap. :D [42 images.]

Wolfie, here are the caps. Mmmmm. (spoilery, of course) )

All of a sudden, I decided I want to watch Torchwood. Seriously, next week seems like a good time to start.

Is Byakkoti subbed yet, btw?

Torchwood is really good: incredibly pyschological and character-based and rises above any MOW tendencies.

I doubt Byakkotai is subbed yet; ina wrote yesterday that LoveSong fansubs has picked it up. Considering how long it took them to do Kame's drama SP Yuuki this past summer, I wouldn't expect anything from them any time soon. And ina made a good point that it will likely take longer because the language in a historical drama won't be as easily translated. Btw, Part 2 is out at d-addicts, if you were interested in it raw.

Well, now I can see why people are watching Torchwood. It's a pity I didn't like Captain Jack when he was on Doctor Who or I might have to consider watching.

Jack is somewhat different on TW - darker, angstier and while still wise-cracking to a certain extent, he's been much changed by whatever happened to him during/after "The Parting of the Ways." I love him so much more on TW than I ever did on DW.

It was really good! I have yet to see 1x13, which I'm saving until I have time to really enjoy it! As in not watching on my commute to work on the iPod.

It's a terrific show that is very character-driven. Science fiction yes, but more about people and how they react to trauma and stress and it doesn't use a "reset" button when bad things happen. I like shows that aren't afraid to show you consequences.

And all the snogging isn't bad either. :)

It's nice to hear from you! I love getting to know everyone.
