Sapuri Episode 6 thoughts (yay, subtitles)

Aug 16, 2006 07:34

The thing with watching an episode each week in Japanese without the subtitles means playing an interesting guessing game. Sometimes I'm right in my guesses and sometimes I'm wrong. This week there was both, like always, but I'm pleased to say that I was more right then wrong - obviously one can't guess the specifics, but it's nice to guess right ( Read more... )

4. What was up with the co-worker's strange look after Yugi and Imaoka rush to clean up Yuya's spill. I didn't understand the significance of his look, yet it seemed important the way the camera hovered on it.

maybe that co-worker noticed theres something going on between Yugi and Imaoka? coz normally you wouldnt rush like that if you are just co-workers. Urgh i suppose.

btw i like yuya's presentation. I think advertising is cool work! I'd love to do if i was creative tho. -_-

That was my first guess, except when you follow his line of sight, he's looking somewhat significantly at Yuya (he's looking up, and Yuya is the only thing that is up in that direction). Yugi was on the floor and Imaoka had moved backward. Maybe it was supposed to indicate Yugi/Imaoka considerations but it came off weird or wrong.

Yuya's presentation was wonderful! I still can't get over those cute cartoon drawings he made. He does seem to have a gift for that.

I think he is looking between Yugi and Imaoka, who is still standing and hovering over Yugi. I think Yuya is even farther away to the right from the co-workers point of view.

You guys must be right! It's definitely the most logical answer.

I really liked the bag analogy at the beginning. Very insightful comments from Yugi.

And I love your observations, I am not that good coming up with stuff myself, but I love reacting to what others write.

OH! I knew I was forgetting something! (that is what happens when writing while brain dead) I remember reading these comments at sapuri and when I heard Yugi make her bag speech, it explained Minami perfectly! She really has no idea what she wants and wants some not entirely realistic package. Whatever. At least she's beginning to consider Yuya more seriously. I don't know whether that is a good thing or a bad thing. As I've been saying all along, the boy deserves someone awesome who will love him for himself, and I'm not sure that anyone really fits that bill. I still want to see him kiss every girl, though!

Just by the by, I am VERY fussy about my bags as well - although I'm a function over style sort of girl, generally speaking - AND I know exactly the kind of guy I like, and that's the one I have. :)

And I love your observationsI am SO glad you like these. I'm not always so inspired, but when I have such an inspirational character to follow, I can't ( ... )

You always have brilliantly insightful things to say about each episode. How do you do it?! XD.

1. I <3 Yuya's expression there too. I think he was more kidding about killing her and just wants her to realize how much he's doing for her so I thought it was a kind of a cheeky "you owe me" expression.
2. Yesyesyes! More about Yuya's family would be so awesome.
11. I expected a rather more romantic confession as well, but I was really moved by how she described "the other side" as "shining" and Minami in particular. This whole episode seemed to be bent on making Watanabe a more likeable character than she was set up to be in the beginning where she observed and made fun of everyone in the office. However, with these developments, it seems that she spends so much time watching them because she wants so badly to be a part of that, which really....casts an entirely different light on all her past actions and why she went after Yuya in the first place.
12. XD. THAT WAS SO CUTE.

You totally spoil me with your kind words, and I hope you know how much I appreciate them!

I'm so brain dead lately that honestly I have no idea where any of these posts are coming from. I'm just glad they are more or less grammatically correct, and even a little comprehensible.

Her envy and disappointment is the source of her grumpiness, which gives her characters some necessary shades ( ... )

2) There's a hint of sexual connotation in Kame's open threat to Minami. He sounds more like he's flirting with her (in his adorable way). His line seems to be unfinished, like, I'm going to kill you, even though I want to kiss you so badly/even though I have a crush on you, something like that.

That is EXACTLY it! That is what I was trying to come up with, and you said it exactly right. Thank you!

Don't know if I can call it a kiss, perhaps "what seems to be the beginning of a kiss (that never materialises)" is more appropriate. LoL

Hey! No spoilers! :P I like to be surprised!

I don't think Watanabe's lying when she confesses to Yuya about her secret wishes but there's always a part of me that sees this as an act of manipulation.

I have this same feeling as well.
