This was my first jdrama and I have very fond memories of it - though it made me cry alot ^_^;;; (me = big sap) If you've started liking Takki, I suggest you watch "Season of the Sun" if you can; it's a rather dark and solemn show but his performance was really good in it :D Not to mention the numerous, glorious half-naked fanservice in it XD The other drama I've seen by Takki is "Antique", where he was rather cute but not really exerting his acting chops ^_^;

We can get very sentimentally attached to our first dorama, can't we? My first two were Good Luck! and Long Vacation and I still love them to pieces. :)

YES, I definitely want to see more Takki. I'm so glad he is this good in Majo no Jouken because I saw some of his Dream Boy and wasn't nearly as impressed - I thought he suffered from two few expressions, but perhaps that was just the medium that stifled him, because here he is dynamic and subtle and incredibly expressive. Like night and day. I have both Strawberry on the Shortcake and Boku dake no Madonna lined up, but I will definitely take your reccs for other Takki dramas! I hope I can find them.

And there is nothing wrong with being sappy. I'm extremely sentimental myself! :)

STILL happilly squeeeing over that gorgeous kiss...oh, and that lovely scene in the hotel room when he turns to face Michi and wraps his arms around her. *melts into a puddle of squishy goo*

I watched "S.O.S" too! But somehow I can't really remember it... Erm... ^_^;;;
I liked the bits of "Long Vacation" that I managed to catch on the tv, and I heard that "Good Luck!" is quite good though I haven't watched it. The only Takuya drama I managed to complete is "Beautiful Life", which I really love :D I caught bits of "Hero" and I liked it too (Utada Hikaru did the opening for this too and even cameoed as a waitress in one scene XD)

IMO, Beautiful Life is good, but Long Vacation and Good Luck! are even better. Of course, YMMV. I also adore Hero - but I had no idea that Utada Hikaru actually cameoed. That dorama was my first introduction to her music and I've really come to like her a lot.

OK. You are evil. Because now I am all impatient to get it and I don't have it yet. Oh no!

Heh heh. I AM teh eViL....

I have no idea how this one is going to turn out, but I just know there will be much more angst in store for Michi and Hikaru. But even if the rest of the dorama is shite, it will be worth it for some of the glorious moments I've seen thus far. I'll probably inventory some of them with screencaps later on, because I'm sick in the head that way. ;)

I think the first kiss between Michi and Hikaru was stellar for jdorama (the second one was crap). She actually opens her mouth! ;) I certainly don't expect to see the reality that I see on American television in a jdorama, although I can hope.
