Ohhh, this is making me eager to watch this. Except I still have 14 eps of FH to go through (not to mention finishing Gokusen). Eeeeek!

I'm so going to hell for shipping these two the way that I am. ;) I love it! Takki is incredible. And he was 17 when he filmed this...Did I mention that Takki is incredible?

Majo no Jouken was a great drama, it was the first Takki drama I saw. He really impressed me, and he was so young too.

I also loved the songs playing throughout the drama including Utada's First Love and Never Let Go, those were my favorites from her first album.

Now that I think of it, I don't have the files for this drama anywhere...I should probably grab them.

This is my first Takki dorama and I'm really glad I started with this one. It will be interesting to see how he evolves as an actor after this performance. I'm still stunned that he was this good at 17 - his face was able to reveal so much vulnerability and toughness in the subtlest ways. There's one scene where he sees his destroyed uniform draped over a fence, and in a few seconds his face transformed from stoic suffering to tortured anguish. Breathtaking! Gah! I just want to hug him. Poor kid.

The Utada Hikaru songs are gorgeous, I agree.

Definitely grab the files. Someone just upped the first 6 eps in HQ with hardsubs, and the rest are in lesser quality hardsubs.

This is totally weird, but there is something about young Takki's face that really, really reminds me of Jin...it's very strange.

I remember starting this a while ago when I was on my watch-jdramas-like-crazy streak, but for some reason stopped an episode or two into the drama. Don't really remember why, but I think the version I had was really bad quality and it just turned me off. This is the one where... he rides a motorcycle? And crashes into her... and she drops her ring? Haha I'm remembering random parts. Oh and there's a library? Where they share a moment? *I really hope this isn't an entirely different drama*.

Will definitely give it another chance. Meanwhile, I hope you got enough sleep! XD

You are definitely remembering the right dorama. It's possible that you might not find it as compelling as I do, but I'm really in love with it. I stayed up until nearly four a.m. to finish watching through episode 5.

:D Not bloody likely. But I have a smile on my face from the Takki love! Somehow that makes the exhaustion easier to bear. Whhhhhyyy don't I have a Takki icon yet? I want to pull some screencaps because there were some really lovely moments in the episodes that I saw.
