A couple days ago I posted about some new music that I bought. One of them was a CD that caught the attention of both icajoleu and I at one of the listening stations at Tower Records.
I've been listening to it a lot since I bought it and it's just overwhelming. I've posted the lyrics to my two favorite songs, but really, they're all terrific. I'm so glad you like - and even more that you ordered it!
Just Say It.... is really great! Listening to Eurydice now. Thanks for the recc! I've reached out to my guy at Navarre - can't wait to hear all of this. It's a little dreamy and plastic drums for me but I like the soundscapes and vocals a lot.
My favorite track is definitely "Desire of Ages." I hope you do get the CD, because it's really lovely. Can you believe it? I'm happily listening to female voices! Eeeee. :)

Yeah, I wasn't sure if this kind of electronica would really appeal to you, but the vocals and the rest of the music, not to mention the lyrics, are all sublime.
WEll, thanks for the recc :-) Someone here who likes music stopped by and asked who I was listening to - right up his alley so he's off to myspace to listen ;-)
Speaking of female voiced - I saw Anna open for the Dixie Chicks on Friday at the Pepsi and she kicked ass! She translated well in an arena - very well. Dixie's weren't bad either but I was there for Anna. Saw her very briefly just to say "hi" and she was very nice as always and said "I remember you. I've met YOU before!" :-)
I was coming over to let you know which my favourite song was from Sleepthief - I couldn't quite remember which ones you said were your favourite. My favourite is 'Desire of Ages' and I chuckled but was not surprised when you said it was one of your favourites, too :)
Not one of..."Desire of Ages" IS my favorite track. I can't help but think of Nicola when I listen to it. I find it so inspirational and moving. :) I'm so glad you like it, too!
