Okay... I like this... darn it, despite the character death. Actually, I like this a lot, and of the two fics you posted (the hero one), this is my favourite. I love how it starts with the language of flowers, and Matsumoto's conversation, and how it just cuts off when it gets to the black rose, and then Toshiro going to the graveyard in the middle of winter and leaving the black rose, and of course by this time we know the black rose doesn't mean anything good. I like how you have the rose unchanging/unmelting into spring, very sad, very tragic touch about it. And since I don't know about the language of flowers, I really wanted to know what the black rose meant, and "Farewell" was a great ending, since it seems like not only character death, but also Toshiro letting go, and getting on with his life... and the present...

hooraay! XD actually i changed when it gets to black rose first time to blank later on lol... but yeah, that was what i was aiming for.

this was the one i got chastied for cuz i killed ichi again. lol.

Actually I kept looking for the reply button... The Dysfunctional communication confuzzled the hell outta me.

Now that I have THAT out in the open...

This is AMAZING! Makes me want to hunt you up on which ever continent you are on and whack you acros the head, but still very good. I especially love the contrast between the happy flashback to the quiet present. Man I want to hug Hitsugaya. Short and sweet and simple. Loved it.

i guess i gotta watch out for any random whacks but still, thanks! XD strictly speaking, the flashback makes it... not-quite-a-scene but i thought it needed it. glad you liked it!
