Hehheh... I know this is supposed to be angst and a real conflict in their relationship and about issues of trust and such... but I was grinning and nodding through it-- well I figured out what Toushirou was so pissed about and I was waiting to see how he would explain to Ichigo and how Ichigo would dig himself out of the hole. But I loved your formulation that "Ichigo saw Toushirou as one of the Gotei 13, to go up against, and not as Toushirou, thus forcing Touchirou to behave as one of the Gotei 13, because the snowball effect of his actions was by then beyond their control, and he had to maintain the duty of his office rather than take his position as Ichigo's lover."

Yeah... The basic idea of Hitsu being pissed off 'cuz Ichi hadn't come to him just came when I was watching the episode and really, the rest just kinda followed. I mean... to make my life easier, I erased out that kinda conflict in OM-universe but in more real sense... something like that happening is viable, isn't it?

I called it angst only 'cuz I didn't know what else to call it... XD I mean... wasn't really angst in the latter half...*shot* I couldn't decide if Hitsu was IC or not since he was talking a fair bit and quite expressive about their relationship but... *shrug*

Well... definitely viable, give the fact that canon Ichigo just goes hurtling into events, or events just look for him anyway.

I always figure that Toushirou would be more demonstrative with his lover, so talking more makes sense-- didn't feel he was talking too much, I mean, he wasn't babbling, and when he cleared the air and elected Ichigo his pillow, he was back to short sentences and monosyllables.

Yeah I didn't think he'd particuarly stay in talking mood after he's achieved his aim, especially when he's trying to sleep. Had fun writing that part though, picturing Ichigo going o.O? then OoO;;; then ...^///^ kinda thing XD
