POSTING THIS HERE BECAUSE I DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT FIGURE SKATING TO WRITE IT:

I WANT FIC WHERE, IN A RARE MOMENT OF SELF-AWARENESS, LYSACEK HAS AN EPIPHANY THAT HE IS UNHAPPY WITH HIMSELF/HIS LIFE, SO HE RUNS OFF TO GO ~FIND~ HIMSELF. BUT BASICALLY THE ONLY PEOPLE HE KNOWS ARE OTHER COMPETITIVE FIGURE SKATERS, SO HE JUST JETS AROUND THE WORLD, CRASHING ON VARIOUS PEOPLE'S COUCHES AND ANNOYING THE FUCK OUT OF THEM. I ENVISION A LOT OF LOLZY PANIC ATTACKS WITH HIM SAYING THINGS LIKE "I'M NOT SURE I EVEN LIKE DOING QUADS!!! ;_;"

I ALSO HAVE THIS IMAGE OF HIM DROPPING IN ON WEIR IN NEW JERSEY AND SAYING "TEACH ME TO BE GENUINE!!!" IN A VAGUELY ANGUISHED MONOTONE. AND THEN JOHNNY TRIES TO GET HIM TO STOP SPEAKING IN CLICHES CONSTANTLY.

"I'M TRYING, OKAY? I'M GIVING IT MY ALL, 110%!!"
"NO, STOP THAT."

AND MAYBE EVAN DECIDES THAT HE NEEDS TO TRY DOING OTHER SPORTS THAT AREN'T FIGURE SKATING, SO HE GETS TO HARASS OTHER OLYMPIC ATHLETES TOO.

a person psychologist, omgggggggg. This is the greatest thing to ever happen ever. I think you need to take a long, hard look in the mirror and decide to write more forever.

Your Johnny IS Johnny. His snark is just the right kind and the right level without feeling too forced. Evan's "ums" and doubts in his speech and his opinions are fucking AWESOME. God, and the whole thing is very well plotted, and the dialogue is brilliantXD

(and I'm so so so VERY happy that Plushenko is being set up as the next in line, what with Johnny's close visit to Russia...though I can't imagine Carroll's reaction if Evan calls and tells him he just got on a plane to Russia with Johnny Weir. I don't know if he'll be more horrified by the fact that he's with Johnny or that he's in Russia. After the Olympics. He'll be eaten by the angry scary Russian mobsXD
Meanwhile, I can already feel Johnny's perverse delight in corrupting him all over the worldXD)

Evan goes to shower while Johnny eats breakfast, and when he turns off the water he can hear Johnny on the phone with someone. He cracks the door slightly out of curiosity.

“-sorry, but he’s kind of fragile right now and I’m not sure how he’d deal with having other people over.”

Johnny must be in his room, Evan can hear him opening and closing drawers as he gets dressed and talks.

“Do you actually want to hang out with Lysacek? Believe me, it’s about as much fun as it sounds. Just stay in the city another night and I’ll call you tomorrow with an update ( ... )
