JR works at a music store. Apolo's the radio DJ that JR listens devoutly to each morning. One day Apolo walks in and they have discussions on the benefits of one artist over another... and JR gets hard listening to Apolo's voice.

I have an image of this in my head and I'm pretty sure I need to write this. I'll start fleshing the story out and I'll keep you updated.
