Last book you read: Finished The Wind Singer (not very good. I don't reccomend)
Really? I loved it when I read it, and was impatient for the sequels. Then they were always checked out when I wanted to read them and now I have a horrendously high fine at the library. But I also read it just after I finished Sabriel, so maybe my judgment was clouded. Or else I just like that kind of book.
Really? I loved Sabriel! And Lirael and Abhorsen. Also, though, I read the Wind Singer right after reading an AWESOME book (Neil Gaiman's Stardust) so my judgement may have also been clouded?
Oooh. I ought to read that. I hear great things about Neil Gaiman, but I only heard Neverwhere on tape, and it was abridged, I suspect, and thus I haven't really read anything by him. But I loved what I heard on tape. He's like an older Lemony Snicket. (Actually, Daniel Handler and he are friends, so I suspect that might be why their writing styles/humors are similar.)
