Okay, since nobody else seems to be commenting, I'll have a go: At first I was a bit "what the f...", obviously, but I think it's brilliant that you explored Jack's omnisexuality in the way it's actually meant... and you somehow made it work which is even more brilliant given the subject... Really, very interesting.
Thanks! I was trying to show how Jack's and the Doctor's relationship had changed over time to be lighter and more accepting ow at first.
I'm glad his omnisexuality showed without being overly weird, I was a bit worried about how to write it.
I have some ideas for both prequels and sequels to this in its own verse (panics over the idea of writing a series). I will probably do it if I think there's interest otu there
(and you should really get an LJ, they're fantastic)
OK,who's kidnapped my daughter and replaced her with this brilliant author?. although i do remember the snail incident very well. that was just about the time i stopped trying to make friends with them. having said that, if jack needs someone to make up the threesome i'd volunteer. if this is what my archers schnapps produces then i'll buy you a whole case. it's brilliant!!!!!
Wow! I had NO idea how omnisexual Jack was. Jack's interaction with Alonso was amusing and sensual. (Even I had realized "whassup"--pun intended.) Not having been familiar with Torchwood, etc until recently; this excerpt has made him quite credible to me. I am curious as to what happens next.
So is this going to cause a worldwide run on pet snails??
jack will go with anyone, and probably most inanimate objects! that seems to the the way people form the 51st century are though, rather than just being him!
i have vague plans that would link of the wolves of life, and this into a series with several more pieces. i doubt i'll touch those plans till i'm out of school though
i'm insulted that you never told me you had an lj!
