Jack's timeline is complicated enough as it is, and then there's the Fixed Point thing to worry about…

Oh yes! And there are already a lot of timelines to consider.

I love it that Jack trusts the Doctor enough to allow that mindmeld, and I love the tenderness with which the Doctor stores away Jack's memories.
