There are so many layered emotions and history in this ship that sometimes it feels like only poetry can capture it. Thank you.

Wow. That was wonderful. You've captured just how hard it is for both of them.

The poor Doctor having the Captain mad at him for something he hasn't done yet. And now that he's read it the Doctor CAN'T change it.

Love that the TARDIS will always remember what happens inside her. Well done!

Thanks a lot. I can never truly exclude the TARDIS from this 'ship, since she's the one who made Jack immortal. She's a part of him, really.

I love this story! The TARDIS, keeping the private details they don't write about in their Journal for them. Their speaking each others actual names in the language it comes from. The keeping of the journal as a reminder of what they had done and who they once were as well as a personal history they can share. I really like that they separate spend time apart before coming together, again, because the Doctor is the only one that really understands who Jack is, just as he serves the sam function for the Doctor. Well done!

The fun of this story was imagining how a relationship between these two would work in the super long term. I don't think they could possibly be in each other's pockets for millennia without breaks, so instead they spend lifetimes apart, doing their own thing - but they always come back to each other in the end. I'm glad you liked it.
