If Wynn Jones' writing is anything like this beautiful fic then I really should look into reading it one day.
Thank you for posting! :)

I am also really flattered that you want a sequel. It hadn't occurred to me that folks might want more! I guess I'll have to use wintercompanion prompts to get my creative juices flowing again.

Anyway, fantastic fic! I love all the worlds you create and the timey-wimeyness and the depth of feeling. I felt terrible for Nine when he realized he'd now lost everything, including Jack. And I was so happy when they found Amelia. Maybe she'll stay with them for a while?
If Jack and the Doctor find all the Homeward Bounders, or most of them, and teach them Rule One an/or take them Home, there'll be no more disbelief in the other worlds, right? So They will lose their power? What will happen then?
....I do think we need a sequel. ;)

I have to say I'm not so curious about what happened after -- the ending is nicely emotionally definitive -- as what happened before, or during, just because I'd love to know more about the Doctor's other companions in this universe. Romana seems to have stayed at Home (which is interesting given that in the show she ended up wandering even further than the Doctor), but Donna travelled with the Doctor after Jack, like on the show. Do you imagine his other companions were other Homeward Bounders, or did he meet them in different ways?

I imagine his other companions as Homeward Bounders as well, yes. My OT3 shipper side wants them to find Rose and fall in love with her, only to have major angst when she finally does find Home.
