I'm mainly confused as to whether Idris Jones is Ianto, or whether our Ianto is time travelling or whether I'm just not reading this with enough concentration and missing something

Maybe I should give up trying to figure out what's going on and just let the story unfold!

Glad to see Ianto survived his encounter with Alice and Emily. Jack hasn't been quite so lucky. I guess they're not going to find him just yet though. At least Ianto now knows he's not Idris, which is progress of a sort I guess.
