So it turns out that having a job where you CAN'T just read and write fic at work and which also leaves you kinda physically exhausted, combined with wading through grad school applications and GREs and shit, really cuts into your fic writing time. >_<

This has been another Statement of the Obvious.

That´s a shame. You really should have a job where you can read and write fanfic. Especiall write them, in your case. Now please tell me what kins of job let´s you do that, so I can apply for one myself.

Hi! Have we met?

So this entry references the fact that I recently switched from a job as a glorified receptionist, where I was able to read fic on an eReader and write stuff longhand, to a job that makes me much happier but requires me to actually DO things during the time they're paying me. I'm still adjusting.

tl:dr: I'd suggest a receptionist gig, provided you find one with an obliging boss.

I have independently come to the same conclusion. ;)

Work has been really busy lately, and I find that this cuts into many aspects of my life that I used to delegate to "downtime at work", most of them fandom-related. It's dumb. =__=
