Ha! This was excellent! I always enjoy your writing and, in particular, your voice--it's so very wry and witty, with wonderful turns of phrase and it flows so well. This was so much fun to read, from John's frustration to Sherlock threatening to ask Molly and to the hot descriptions of the moment John spends making the hickey and his parting look.

Ha, what a lovely (though vengeful) point John makes! And clearly Sherlock was not anticipating just how thorough John is when it comes to giving favours.
Though now the game is truly afoot.
It would be interesting to continue just to see what solutions Sherlock would come up to his recently discovered dilemma.
