Yep, I love that pic too! I'm glad I got a lot of good ones! I have to go through the remaining pics and post those that are different. Joe really kept that microphone CLOSE to his mouth... times that he dropped it are few :( And blurry because it was quick.

Awesome Joe pics!! You really got some great ones at this con. Oh, I want to go to LA con so badly now!! I'm going to start saving now and hope they do it again next year and that Joe comes next year!

well, LA has its good points - and it's bad points. Yay for smaller, but that also means fewer Stargate guests. You can also buy the tickets pretty late and still get a good seat. I wavered for quite a while on getting a 'gold'. But finally did, because the gold allowed me to hop to all the conventions, and since I am interested in Farscape and some of the Whedon stuff, it worked out and I wasn't bored. Joe is also much more serious. I like him better with David, he laughs and they have a good time.

So, start saving and watching the creation site, but don't buy a ticket till later.

I agree about his interaction with David. I saw him in Chicago last year - of course gorgeous but in Bonn in May this year with David, gorgeous, funny and more relaxed. I think he feels more at ease when he's up there with a 'mate'. I suppose it backs up the fact that he was shy when he was younger - there's still the little touch of shy there - so cute!

Great pics! The lighting must be a lot better in LA than Chicago.

I have to say that I don't think glasses flatter Joe. On some guys, they look hot (Jensen Ackles, for instance), but I think they detract fom Joe's looks. Am I gonna' get flamed?

Well, for one, they left the lights on all the time, for another, I'm a LOT closer to the stage vs. Chicago :)

Yea, I don't think putting lenses in his sunglasses was the way to go. I think he could look really stunning with some frames that fit him better. And yea, I prefer him without. It will be interesting to see that if he's wearing glasses or not in future roles - or going the contacts route when working.

Interesting that he has told the story of having a problem mountain-climbing in cold weather shortly after having LASIK surgery. If it didn't take, Joe will be the third person I know whose eyes went back to where they had been before the surgery. Not worth it!

I agree with you about the glasses! I think a different style of frame would look soooo much better. It's funny how those frames look really cool as *sun*glasses, but not so cool as regular glasses.
