I'm not going to read The Hunger Games*. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, and you people can't make me. So there.

*Nor Twilight. Nor watch Avatar. No interest whatsoever in any of them.

I won't read/watch The Hunger Games. I never read/watched Twilight. I did, however, see Avatar on DVD simply because it was at a friends house and I felt like I lost two tortured hours of my life after.

Sigh. I know. If you have a failing, that would be it.

Attempted to read Twilight once. Worst. Book. Ever.

I haven't read the Hunger Games series. I don't think I want to. Maybe when the idea of kids killing one another in an arena setting becomes palatable...if it ever does...

Well, if the kids are particularly obnoxious...

Well, that's what happens in the book, but that's not what the book is about. I rather enjoyed it. At least it's well-written.

I don't have any interest in Twilight or Avatar, either. I have read the first book in the Hunger Games series, and I liked it. I'll probably watch the movie when it's available On Demand, but whether I feel I'll watch it enough to buy the DVD, I dunno.

I read HG at Lindsay's insistence. She's read both HG and Twilight, and loves the former, despises the latter. I trust her judgment. This is her field, after all.
