You should go back there and explain. Even if they say no, sorry, at least you've tried. You never know, maybe they'll help you out.

I intended to, anyway - just had to wait till they opened today. And they were friendly and helpful - I now have the correct tickets!

Heck with that. That was the ticket girl's fault. Might not be able to get a refund, but I'd darn well try.
