This did not go in the direction I thought it would, but I liked it a lot. It was.... sweet and believable and unexpected.

I am glad I could amuse. When it happened I was like "God, you know how lame you are, David?" so I figured I could share it for the amusement of the comm.

I am gonna put my hands up here and confess that I'm totally jealous of alicebluegown16 who writes all these awesome, slow-building series that develop the relationship over time instead of just throwing Will and Finn together; so this is my attempt at that. I have no idea where I'm gonna go, but it is the plateau from which I shall hopefully build a sweet, slowburning series :3

I loved this story, and it DID seem to changes gears in the end (more friendly than "wanky"), but I see in your comment you are hoping to make it a series. Awesome. Perhaps they can get to know each other through that web site. First Finn will write some good comments, and eventually post a video of his own... ? :)

There's a definite shift in the dynamic of this fic because I wanted to fill both sides of the prompt. I wanted a chance to show how dead sexy Will is, but show his personality too.

As for the change of pace towards 'friendly', it's important to remember that Finn watched the video by himself and there's a huge leap from feeling something for somebody and being willing to tell them how you feel. But then, that's what sequels exist for ;)

I too would admit that this didn't progress/end the way I expected it to (with sex lol) but I have to say that this way was much more believable and real. You played well into Shue's insecurities and Finn's desire to be half the man he sees Will as. It was good and also very hot in the beginning.

I'm not sure whether everyone expected this to end in sexytiems because of the NC-17 rating or if I'm just developing a reputation at this comm :P

I see Will as a little bundle of neuroses (even his issues have issues), but it's so deeply layered into his psyche that he can't really acknowledge them and for the most part they don't affect him too deeply. It's only when there's upheaval in his life that his dormant quirks come to the surface and he shows just how internally compromised he is mentally and emotionally.

Well since I honestly haven't read too much of your Winn work I have to say it was the rating and the concept behind the fic that made me think it would somehow end up in intercourse lol but really it still works and is not a let down in anyway, it just says we as readers have pretty dirty minds XD

This was awesome. There needs to be a lot more Will/Finn/Technology fics in the world.

If there's going to be a sequel/sequels to this, then this works really well as a first chapter, because the seeds have been sown - Will has a hint that Finn is gay and interested, and their relationship is already starting to go beyond teacher and pupil. So, while I was willing Finn to do something more at the end, the hug and the whole speech made a lot more sense as a long term thing.

If this is just a standalone fic, then ignore that. xD

I loved this, anyway. The description of the video was hnng, and I love that Will wears briefs. :P

I want to make this into a series, but that all depends on the blessings of my donnée. If I never find the spark, I'm happy enough with this to leave it as a oneshot; but I hope that something catches my interest and brings us more of this 'verse :)

I put Will in briefs mostly because I always seem to write my characters as wearing boxers and I figured it would make for a change. Also the mental imagery was hot.

That was very very very very very very very very very very very very hot and sexy and guh.

I think my brain short circuited after reading the part with Will in the video and...guuuuuuh. After reading that I kind of wanted to tie him down and undo his zipper with my teeth and do very very naughty, lovely things to him.

And then at the end it was so sweet and I wanted to cuddle him and feed him cookies. It was so sad and sweet and I loved Finn. It was great characterization and felt very real and true to form. I loved it.
